Hi! I’m Catarina :)

I’m a full-time artist based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada—though you might also catch me in Portugal!

Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Like many kids who loved creating, I was told that being an artist wasn’t realistic, so I pursued a business degree instead. Even though I took a different path, my dedication and love for art led me back here, doing exactly what I was meant to do.

I began live wedding painting in 2021, and it has truly been a dream come true. Being trusted to create a memory that people will cherish forever is an honour I don’t take lightly, and I feel endlessly grateful for every single wedding I get to paint!!

A few other notes about me:

• I’m the youngest of 3 and an incredibly proud daughter of Portuguese immigrants. I speak the language fluently and much of my personal artwork is deeply inspired by my Portuguese culture.

• Firm believer that breakfast is the best meal of the day!!

• I may overuse a smiley face or an exclamation point.. ! :)

• Things I love: photography, travelling, collecting music, concerts, a dance floor, sunsets and eggs in every form.
